Standing tall at the southern tip of Broadway, near Bowling Green Park, 2 Broadway is a 32-story office building in the Financial District. Designed by Emery Roth & Sons, the building proudly houses the headquarters of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA).

Tamir Sapir purchased 2 Broadway in 1995. The building was renovated after the MTA leased all the space in 1999, which was the biggest lease in NYC history. The current exterior dates to 1999, when Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) installed new cladding on the building.
