Yama Sekander has been with The Sapir Organization since October 2017 and currently serves as the Director of Acquisitions, where he is responsible for the underwriting and analysis of all acquisitions and developments. Before joining The Sapir Organization, Yama served as the Senior Real Estate Analyst for Edison Properties. He was pivotal in analyzing and repositioning the Newark Warehouse Company building in Newark, New Jersey. His efforts contributed to developing a 456,000-square-foot mixed-use redevelopment in the heart of Downtown Newark, Ironside Newark. Yama holds a Master’s in real estate with dual concentrations in Development and Finance from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst.
